Computer refuses to apply overclocking configurations in BIOS
Hi together,
I'm using a Ryzen 2600 on a B450m Pro4 from Asrock. After the Bios Update (AEGSA 1.0.0.3, 3,5), the manual overclocking options aren't available. Every time I start up, the system uses the standard Ryzen Boost settings and voltages, but in BIOS it still shows my manual configuration. Anyone have any suggestions or answers?
Thanks for your help!
I adjusted the BIOS settings, saved them, and exited BIOS. BIOS retains those changes. Each time I check, the modified settings remain visible. However, the active system runs with standard configurations—lower clock and voltage during idle, higher during games or benchmarks. Using Ryzen Master resolves the issue.
it's better to lower the clock/voltage when idle and raise it during games or benchmarks, you don't require all systems to run at maximum at idle or low loads.
You would need to turn off all power-saving settings in BIOS and Windows.
Doesn't work.
Reset of bios works now. After Bios reset, I can change Overclocking Settings once. This is accepted by windows. All further changes are saved in Bios but not accpeted in Windows. There must be something that overwrites overclocking settings running process.
