Hello, I reached out hoping someone could assist before paying for a repair shop. Here’s a summary of my setup: 6700XT, 5600, B550M Pro with WiFi, TX850m. All components are new. Since building my PC, I’ve experienced restarts whenever launching most games. For older titles like CSGO and TF2, I adjusted power limits and GPU clocks to keep them running. More demanding games cause a sudden restart after a few minutes. I’m not seeing bluescreen issues—just regular restarts. I’ve already replaced all parts, reinstalled Windows and DDU drivers, and checked via hwinfo that the PSU provides 12V and 5V during restarts. Thanks for your help!

I'm sorry, I likely missed adding that detail from the original post—my temperatures were normal, never exceeding 75°C.

I turned off the automatic restart feature. If you don’t, just tell us! I’ve dealt with a PC that had this problem too. My machine also had an issue where it would shut down unexpectedly, likely due to a faulty PSU.

I've noticed some other aspects worth considering. Ryzen and compatible boards seem to have quirks with RAM. My 5900X caused serious issues—freezing in sleep mode, crashes with fans open, and no video after every few cold boots. I checked the Asus Tuf B550-PLUS and sent it for an RMA. Meanwhile, an ASRock B450M-HDV with the same RAM, GPU, and storage also had similar problems. The Ballistix model I initially used wasn’t listed on either manufacturer’s QVL. I switched to RAM from that board’s QVL, which resolved the issue. When I returned the Asus board, they said it couldn’t be duplicated. I purchased a kit from Asus’ QVL and it worked perfectly. It was only a few instances over four months. After realizing sleep mode can damage machines and stress memory, I stopped enabling it. Interestingly, the test bed never reported sleep mode issues. I’d suggest matching your RAM SKU (part number) with the board’s QVL for that exact model. If missing, it might be a known issue. This was definitely my own problem.

Sure, I've got it—I think I've already tried it before, but I'm giving it another go. Thanks!

It seemed to take a bit more time than expected, but it doesn’t appear to be a software issue—it might be hardware-related.

That’s not good! Consider switching to a different power supply. I had that problem with my computer.
