I mean... Yeah, that's fair, but I'm not sure about PC prices in Chile, and I also don't really need a lot more of a PC, I just play Valorant 🤷‍♂️
If anything, I'd benefit from more RAM for dual channel and lower latency.
That leads to the question, what specifications would a newer platform have that aren't too expensive, since I don't have a big budget? Yeah, I could upgrade a CPU or a motherboard, but I'm not really looking at buying a whole new computer.

Essentially, you can repurpose most components except the GPU and RAM. The main focus should be on reusing the PSU, optional RAM upgrades, and storage options like an NVMe or SATA SSD.

Check the prices of i3 12100, B660 or Z690 motherboards, any PSU with a 7+ year warranty around 450-550w (400w models are getting harder to find). A Crucial P3 NVMe would be ideal if you can afford it.
If you're considering AMD, the R7 5700G paired with a B550M motherboard would make a solid choice.
Purchasing older parts might save money now, but... they often lose value over time.
If the cost exceeds your budget, consider used PCs, though they’re still affordable for a reason. At least new components will last you years.
