I have been facing problems with my Windows 11 system tonight.
Yesterday I encountered difficulties opening Firefox and accessing Steam, too. My desktop felt slow and unresponsive. I assumed these were minor glitches and decided to restart the computer.
After rebooting, the screen remained stuck in a "restarting" state. I waited over ten minutes before turning it back on to force a shutdown. Now, I cannot successfully boot Windows 11. I am stuck on the motherboard brand logo screen or, when I power on and off repeatedly to enter Automatic Repair mode, the same logo keeps appearing without any progress.
I also attempted to use a recovery USB drive, but it resulted in a black screen again. In BIOS, my boot order is incorrect, the OS drive isn’t listed, and I can’t modify it. The old boot drive, which no longer had Windows installed, was removed, yet I still can’t access the USB recovery. The current OS drive remains connected to the motherboard (m.2 nvme).
From what I’ve seen, there seems to be a software issue. I’m unable to reach the screen needed for startup repair, system restore, or safe mode booting.
If possible, I installed an update for my AMD GPU on 23.7.2, but I’m unsure if that caused this problem.
Please let me know if any assistance can be provided.

The drive was not working properly. There is a method to access Advanced Boot Options, though I’m unsure about the specific model you’re using. You mentioned you managed to enter before but switched to the BIOS right away. Either pressing F8 or another key would work. It was worth trying.

Have you ever attempted to remove a RAM stick and check if it works? Changing components might trigger a boot and bring you into the BIOS. Also, when your boot settings seemed off, it probably hinted at the problem. I’ve dealt with this before; I just had to find the right F button to access the Boot Menu and adjust the settings to newer drives or Safe Mode. Food for thought ahead

I still have the bios files I probably missed, but when I attempt to boot from the recovery usb/windows 11 installer media on the usb, it fails. I think the issue might be that the drive remains connected to the m.2 slot.

You have the option to set the USB recovery as the primary boot method or use a different USB drive with a Windows installation media to reinstall the operating system. It shouldn't be difficult.

Each time I attempt it, it simply hangs and prevents me from changing the boot sequence.

Now I've taken out the old boot drive and obtained a USB Windows 11 installer that's genuine. When I plug in the USB, it tells me to load files and then brings me back to the boot loop.
