Do any computer games replicate driving prototypes of cars and motorbikes at speeds exceeding 400 km/s on perfectly straight roads? Most titles, like Colin McRae, NFS, and even F1, can reach a top speed of up to 250 km/h. However, achieving such high velocities is uncommon due to limitations in acceleration and the effects of sharp turns. In older versions of these games and during Windows 95, the cars had similar maximum speeds and average speeds, with graphics being much sharper but driving performance unchanged. With upcoming resolutions of 16K or higher, gameplay may shift toward higher average speeds between 150 km/h and 200 km/h, though engine power and frequent turns could still affect enjoyment. It appears that developers prioritize visuals over actual driving speed in these titles.

Are there any games about flying jet planes that break extreme speed records in flight?

I'm familiar with no PC games I know that match those speeds except possibly TrackMania, but definitely not a simulation game. The GT7 on PS5 does have faster than usual cars, such as the Dodge SRT Tomahawk X VGT, which exceeds 600kmph, lol.

The fullest PC racing game I know about, apart from buying a subscription, is the Assetto Corsa series.
