Hello everyone, I recently purchased components for my new PC. I chose the Asus A620-M paired with the NZXT H5 FLOW case. My concern is that I only have two fan headers but need four fans. Can I use a 3-1 fan splitter? The case includes two NXTZ 120 F120Q fans, and I plan to add two Be Quiet Pure Wings 3 140mm PWM units. Will the power usage be excessive?

I’d likely set two 2 to 1 headers for improved fan curve management. If a 3 to 1 splitter is used, it should work fine—the Pure Wings 3 supports up to 0.3A and the F120Q up to 0.18A. Any mix of these three must stay under 1A to protect the header, and no trio exceeds the amp limit. Two 2 to 1 headers are also acceptable.

Looking for details on maximum current capacity? I might not know where to find it, but I'm here to help.

The simplest approach is to inspect the fan directly; the details are printed on the label. For more information, searching online typically provides a spec sheet with the maximum current draw listed on the product page.
