Computer fails to power on despite all parts functioning correctly before assembly.
A simple approach is to take out every part from the case and assemble the computer on a cardboard box or any other non-conductive clean surface. Start with just the motherboard, CPU (+cooler), RAM and PSU. If it doesn’t boot into BIOS, try resetting the CMOS memory, perhaps replace the battery while you’re there. If it still won’t start, test the CPU and RAM on another machine to confirm they work. If everything checks out, you can put the case back together carefully. Ensure all connections are secure and avoid any metal parts touching the circuit boards. Good luck!
