I recently purchased new case fans for my computer, specifically Corsair white LED 120mm models. Once installed and the system started, everything worked differently than before. After about ten minutes, the computer displayed a blue screen, though I don’t recall the exact error code. During extended gaming sessions, the machine stopped crashing but would frequently freeze in Fortnite without clear reasons. I unplugged several fans until only one front fan remained active, yet crashes still occurred unpredictably. After removing some RGB software, I haven’t been able to play games smoothly until they crash again. I’m planning to test other games for longer periods to better understand the issue. Any suggestions or ideas could be helpful?
I've noticed some discussions about certain RGB tools causing system crashes, especially Viper. It seems it often comes bundled with other manufacturer's RGB solutions, so worth investigating further. If the issue continues and only involves more fans, consider using a dedicated fan controller—it might point to power overloads on the motherboard, though this isn't a widely reported problem.
