Compression issues in Windows 10 are common after Feature Update 1809. Running compression on your main drive might help, but it doesn’t guarantee a fix and could affect system stability. You’ve already experienced BSODs and error messages that persist despite repairs.

Compression won't help; focus on resolving the BSODs. Reduce CPU and RAM speeds, test a different GPU, reinstall Windows, and explore other fixes.
