I've encountered some PC problems that needed troubleshooting. Initially, games like Black Desert Online caused noticeable stuttering when I played on a second monitor while watching YouTube. The in-game FPS seemed stable around 80-100, but I experienced frequent 300 ms interruptions, which made it feel like only about 3 FPS. To resolve this, I adjusted the game settings to limit it to 60 FPS in the NVidia control panel. Later, with Black Ops 4, I faced similar issues—around 400 ms stutters every five seconds for about an hour before the game would crash after roughly sixty seconds. I fixed it by lowering the render resolution to 50% in-game (from my native 1440p). The most recent problem involves Beat Saber, where consistent 200-400 ms stutters in VR feel extremely uncomfortable. While it hasn’t caused a full crash, the frequent lag during benchmarking is bothersome. I can run cinebench or furmark without issues, but combining both leads to heavy stuttering and crashes after about thirty seconds. My system runs Windows 10, with the latest BIOS and BIOS versions installed. Temperatures are normal—CPU maxes at 85°C, GPU at 75°C. I’ve tried Asus GPU Tweak 3 and adjusted power settings, but the stutter persists. It seems power management might be involved, especially when both components are stressed. This has been a persistent issue over the past year.
