My system isn't operating as intended. THE ISSUES INCLUDE:
- Following a Windows update roughly two weeks prior to a live stream, I lost the ability to produce sound through the mixer or output settings.
- Last week, I randomly started streaming Overwatch and experienced a crash. I thought it was due to all settings being set to ultra, so I switched to medium and avoided playing more during streams.
- During the same session, I streamed Gundam Evolution and encountered intermittent crashes. I suspect the problem is with Gundam Evolution.
- Two nights prior, I attempted to go off stream to play Fortnite with a friend, but the game would crash after the splash screen or when I entered a match. I adjusted settings like medium and no shadows to improve performance.
- The following day, I informed my partner about taking steps to enable playback together, followed by playing one game and exiting Fortnite. Afterward, I tried a match in Fortnite and decided to quit, only to see it crash again.
- Subsequently, non-game applications stopped functioning—Malware Bytes failed repeatedly, Opera GX crashed every 20 seconds, and RetroArch froze or became unresponsive. Task management was required to resolve the situation.

WHAT ACTIONS HAVE BEEN TAKEN:
- Updated graphics drivers, MOBO firmware, and all system components; Windows remained current.
- Ran SFC to detect corrupted files; some repairs succeeded.
- Used PowerShell to check drive health for over four hours; no errors detected on any drives.
- Enrolled in Windows Insider for a preview of Windows 11, but encountered license issues.
- Performed a clean install of Windows 10 from the boot drive after resetting the PC.
- Reverted a stable Windows update.
- Reset PC while keeping personal files; BSOD appeared during MOBO splash screen.
- Checked NZXT CAM for anomalies; temperatures and airflow were normal.

Despite these efforts, new complications emerged—green screen of death, kernel check failures, DPC watchdog errors, and intermittent crashes across multiple apps.

It seems you haven’t completed an OS reinstall. That would be my preferred next action.

I attempted, but a new blue screen appears due to an NTSF error.

Lol. NTSF stands for Not Too Safe For ? Just kidding, but a recent patch affected my Fortnite. I received an error about a known issue with DX12 drivers. I updated them or switched to DX11, but the game still didn’t run well. After setting it back to DX12, performance improved. It seems some Windows updates can break DX12 for certain titles. You might want to roll back the update and see if it helps. Good luck!

I previously encountered that warning, but I didn’t have to make any adjustments until now. The program won’t start without the d3dll—it only functions with DirectX11. I reverted to the most recent stable version I had, but it still doesn’t work for Fortnite or other apps. Thanks! I’ll keep testing.

I just noticed you have a 13900K chip. I'm curious—are its performance settings at their default or have you pushed it higher? With the 3060, overclocking isn't necessary. Still, this chip can be power-hungry. Your specs didn't mention your power supply, so it would help to check if you have enough capacity to run it smoothly.

View errors and critical events in the Event Viewer under Windows Logs -> System. Occasionally, these details provide hints about the problem.

After several attempts to fix issues, I finally realized the problems stemmed from the intense pressure of the AIO. Switching to a new CPU/MOBO forced me to replace the cooler bracket to match the updated socket. Changing how I secured the CPU and using a plate instead of a lever on the board helped bring stability to the problem.
