Completed initial construction project.
Greetings, I’m planning my initial gaming desktop setup and would value your feedback on the components I've selected. Please keep in mind that this is intended to be a mid-range configuration.
Here are the links to my builds:

I welcome any suggestions (as I’ve largely based my choices on existing builds, so I'm unsure which might be superior).
The MSI MAX motherboard functions effectively with 3rd generation Ryzen CPUs without requiring a BIOS modification, which is a minor consideration. Nevertheless, the initial power supply unit demonstrated inadequate performance. Despite this shortcoming, the first system’s central processing unit, memory, and solid-state drive were superior in specifications. I suggest combining components from both systems.
PCPartPicker Component List:
Item|Description|Price
-------|--------|------
CPU|AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Processor (3.6 GHz, 6-Core)|$194.00 @ Amazon
Motherboard|MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard| $79.98 @ Amazon
Memory|Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200| $74.29 @ Adorama
Storage|Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME SSD| $95.99 @ Amazon
Initially, the initial configuration displays several compatibility alerts...
Caution: Certain AMD B450 motherboard models might necessitate a BIOS revision before accommodating Matisse processors. Updating the BIOS could potentially require utilizing an older CPU compatible with previous BIOS versions.
Please be aware: Some physical space limitations cannot currently be verified automatically, including CPU cooler and RAM compatibility when utilizing modules featuring substantial heat sinks.
The second option exhibits no incompatibility warnings, although recent 5700 graphics cards have occasionally experienced issues.
The MSI MAX motherboard is compatible with third-generation Ryzen CPUs without requiring a BIOS modification, which is fortunate. Nevertheless, the initial power supply unit was inadequate. However, the CPU, RAM, and SSD in the original setup were superior components.
I recommend combining elements from both systems.
