Ideal scenarios work perfectly. It removes all unnecessary elements and lets you begin anew. In practice, reality matters—your system might need updated drivers for hardware not recognized.

This update will cause several issues with chipset drivers and firmware. It’s not transitioning from Skylake to Skylake+, but shifting from an Intel 2011 platform to an AMD 2018 platform. A complete reinstall is recommended.

Uncertain about the reason for frequent reinstalls. The drivers depend on hardware identifiers, so once old hardware is removed, those drivers won’t load. The main problem is that certain software like audio driver console or networking apps may still run. Before installing the new motherboard and CPU, uninstall related software from the old system—such as Realtek audio driver, Intel networking, wireless utilities, and other network drivers. Then power off and install the new hardware. In the worst case, you can reinstall later if issues arise.
