Recently, I left my PC unattended over the weekend for roughly 85 hours. Since I wasn’t home, it was used mainly for remote access. Upon returning, the memory usage hit full capacity at 100%, and no heavy programs were running. The biggest RAM consumer was Discord, using about 200MB. This is unusual and could indicate a background process or software leak. To prevent this in the future, consider closing unused applications, disabling unnecessary services, or using a system with better memory management.
Launch Task Manager and review which program is consuming the most memory. This usually points to a single app causing the problem. Memory leaks are common but rarely cause the system to use 100% of its capacity—your 16GB should handle minor leaks without issues. Look at the specific application using the memory, avoid running it again, or at least until the developers address the issue.
Attempt to recreate the problem or return when it happens again. Currently, we lack sufficient details to resolve it.
