Complete system freeze
Alright, thanks for the heads up about the B550, but it doesn't matter regarding the PSU, seeing the crashing with the new PSU still happens! I don't know what to do anymore. New CPU? New Motherboard?? I use my pc for my company and some videogaming, i upscale video and do video editing. I can't upscale anymore because of the freezing now!
I would still begin by checking the GPU on another system if feasible.
I still face the problem, I filled everything in my bios with the default settings, but the pc froze again. This time it restarted, and I looked into Event Viewer. There are four errors listed under system now:
A fatal hardware error has occurred.
Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: Bus/Interconnect Error
Processor APIC ID: 0

It seems my CPU might be responsible for all this. This makes sense because I replaced the videocard, the ram, and it was still happening. I also remembered that in 2020 or 2021, when cleaning the pc, I removed the CPU and dropped it, bending two pins. After repositioning them, they weren’t broken, but maybe this worsened the situation.
