Emulating runs on PC as well and it definitely feels like gaming. It really depends on your preferences. I’ve heard the 2014 Formula 1 sim is quite solid, Dirt 3 is a solid choice, and there was some fun free racing game available, though I can’t recall its title. It had a vibrant neon look and was quite unique for a racing experience.

Grid autosport is currently my top racing title right now while I wait for project cars. I didn’t enjoy Assetto Corsa much. It’s a decent game overall, but it feels empty because it was in early access and people bought into it. About two weeks after the final launch they dropped a DLC pack for £10… wow.
