Hello, welcome to your new gaming PC! You have an AMD Ryzen 5 4500 and an ASUS TUF B550M-E motherboard. The motherboard lists the CPU as both Ryzen 3000 and 5000 series, but inside the CPU box it shows 4000 series. That’s confusing. Are there any issues to be aware of? I’m sorry for the mistakes—I’m not a native English speaker.

It does back it. For details, you can look at the motherboards product page—there’s a CPU support list available.

It works fine; the issue might stem from the outdated B550 BIOS from the 3000s not supporting newer 4000-series parts. Recent components should handle it without problems since BIOS updates are available.

It confirms AMD Ryzen 5000 compatibility, so I bet it will function properly.
