Compatibility of RAID 0 across different boards
Your existing HDDs and M.2 drives are already configured in RAID 0, so enabling RAID mode in the BIOS won’t change that setup. The data remains intact across the volumes, but you’ll need to rebuild the RAID configuration after the upgrade to ensure everything works correctly.
Raid 0 cannot be transferred between motherboards. You need to save your information and begin a fresh RAID setup. This highlights a major limitation of RAID systems—they are difficult to relocate. You may need an external hard drive instead.
