Not sure where to share this but I hope it works! (I've also shared it in other forums because I really need some assistance)
I recently bought a pre-built computer a few months ago. It's been freezing randomly lately. After replacing the RAM under warranty, most problems seemed fixed.
Now it starts having another issue. The computer freezes on startup and then restarts after a few seconds. The event viewer shows something like "Reset to device Raidport0 issued."
About 20 minutes ago it froze again, but this time it didn’t come back. It displayed a message at the bottom saying "stop code dpc watchdog violation." My PC wouldn’t boot, so I had to turn it off and drain the power before it would start up again.
I’m starting to think there might be an SSD or compatibility problem.
My motherboard is a Gigabyte B760M D3HP (DDR5 version)
The main SSD is an m.2 Origin Inception TLC830 Pro NVMe 1TB
CPU is i9-12900kf
I’m struggling to find information about that SSD—I’ve never heard of the brand and feel the shop might have cut corners.
I ran sfc and CHKDSK checks, and both came back fine.
I purchased a ready-made computer a few months ago.

My system has an i9-12900kf processor.
My motherboard is a Gigabyte B760M D3HP (DDR5).
In reality, it seems the person who assembled the PC likely chose a different chipset than what’s compatible.
I suspect there might be a compatibility problem with the SSD or other components.

I just restarted the PC with a chddsk scan scheduled and it completed a repair on my drive, hopefully fixing the issue.
Regarding the motherboard/CPU, I’m thinking about replacing the motherboard for better performance since this board is quite inexpensive. Do you have any recommendations to match this CPU? Something similar to this might work:

Or perhaps I should consider swapping the CPU and motherboard instead?

If this BIOS version appears on their support page, it probably indicates instability.
Regarding the motherboard and CPU pairing, I’d recommend upgrading to a higher-quality board if possible. Since this model is budget-friendly, would you like suggestions for alternatives or should I explore a full rebuild?
Please share your complete build details so we can evaluate costs effectively. Building a proper system now could be more beneficial than trying to patch existing issues.
Cooler: I'm uncertain about the exact make and model, but I suspect there might be a sticker somewhere; I can't disassemble the PC yet because I don't have time. It is however side mounted.
PSU: Same as before, I might have some time tomorrow to check properly!
Chassis: There are three intake filtered fans at the bottom, a rear exhaust fan, and my radiator is currently mounted side by side with the exhaust. They advised me to consider swapping the radiator for an intake if CPU temperatures are high, but they seem stable now.
BIOS: That wasn't something I noticed before. I recall a BIOS update about two months ago that auto-initiated; I plan to perform the F7 update now. A quick search suggests F7a was either a beta or unstable version, so I'll remove that as soon as possible. (It seems to be the Gigabyte control center.)
Unfortunately, I don't think it's something I can return to right now since I've had it for about five months. The frustrating part is this is my first pre-built unit—I always build from scratch—and I'm starting to regret it because I know I wasted money. I'd feel confident upgrading the motherboard if recommended.
