Compatibility Information for CPU Cooler with Ryzen 5 2600
I own a Ryzen 5 2600 and an AsRock AB350 Pro4 motherboard.
My Deepcool Gammaxx 400 cooler claims incompatibility with my CPU or older Ryzen models, though others say it works with previous generations like the Ryzen 1700.
According to PCPartPicker, both my CPU and motherboard are listed as incompatible.
Can I still install this cooler?
Additionally, I have more than five years of thermal paste left; if it appears to be in good condition, should I proceed?
