I possess a Gigabyte Z390 ITX board (Gigabyte Z390 I AORUS PRO WIFI) featuring an E key Wi-Fi port that supports Intel CNVi interface with Wi-Fi standards 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. The Intel 9560 SoC Wi-Fi operates via CNVio, a proprietary bus design inspired by the DPHY low power interface. The E slot can accommodate Intel 9560, but will it work with a 9260 A/E slot card or require an A/E adapter? An A/E slot adapter fits into an E slot, though recognition may be affected. Since the adapter uses A/E pins, it might not be fully recognized by the OS, leaving only an external USB Wi-Fi option. This is why I prefer the Broadcom card mentioned earlier, paired with an A/E pinout adapter, to connect to its standard slot on the carrier.
