You have a Ryzen 5 3600 and a new GA-A320M-H motherboard, but PC Part Picker didn’t list it as compatible. Did they actually support the model or is there another reason?

Ensure the correct BIOS is installed for optimal performance. The A320 chipset isn't ideal for Ryzen 5 CPUs and usually offers low value. Consider upgrading to a Tier E or higher motherboard such as the Aorus B450 M, MSI B450 Gaming Plus (Max), or similar options.

Looking for a motherboard with two slots that can handle a 65W TDP component and support up to 3200Mhz RAM. I initially thought it wouldn’t work, but I realize I could afford about 30 USD extra and get a durable board for years.

It's not just about running it; overall performance and upgrade support matter too. You'll also need an older CPU—like the first-gen Ryzen—to install the BIOS update. The MSI boards with BIOS flashback or MAX versions don't work in this case.
