I'm thinking about upgrading to a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU and pairing it with one of those RAM options: Kingston FURY Beast 32GB or the 32GB 3600MHz model. I'm not sure if they're compatible with the 5th generation Ryzen yet, but the 3200MHz version is listed for the 3rd gen QVL. The RGB 3600KIT model is shown for the 3rd gen as well. Do you have any insights or experiences with these upgrades?

Yeah, ik, but it wasnt the question. And even tho its ns is the same, ryzen 5th gen benefits from faster ram, it can mean a few % more fps.

It sounds like you're considering the 3600 kit with its 3600 and 3000MHz XMP profiles. You mentioned seeing options to adjust it to 3200 manually. I'd like to know if others have successfully used this setup without problems.

I own the 3200 model, working on both the 5700x and 5800x3d. It failed when changing to 3600, possibly because the RAM can't handle more than 3200. Hope it works soon!

Offers quicker data retrieval, not just raw velocity. On AMD the 3200 C16, especially with the more precise 18 subtimings, excels in frame timing and overall average frames.

For price differences under $5, choose the 3600c18. To exceed that performance, manual overclocking is necessary; RAM choices should avoid problematic modules like C Die. If you're aiming for this path, consider a Samsung M378A2K43DB1 or a Hyundai HMA82G6DNR8N.
