Hey everyone, I'm looking to upgrade my old laptop with an Intel Core i7 4700MQ and 16GB RAM into a home server setup for tools like GitLab runners and Jitsi. I need a desktop motherboard that supports the fcpga946 socket for better cooling and don’t want to use the unused GT 765M chipset. Any suggestions on where to find something suitable? Thanks!

there were conversion devices for CPUs that allowed them to fit into LGA 1150 slots, but the cost of 4th generation desktop components fell so much that these adaptations became unprofitable, making it unnecessary for anyone to continue the practice.
