Hi! Comparing the CROSSHAIR VII HERO and ROG STRIX X470-F for 3800x is interesting. Both options might fit the next-gen Ryzen, but the HERO could offer better support for newer CPUs. Let me know if you want more details!

They’re essentially identical except the strix model includes an additional PCIe 4x lane. Both share the same brand and chipset, so performance should be comparable. The main difference would come from whether AMD provides support for the Ryzen 4th generation.
