TL;DR -
Avoid paying premium prices!
The 5070 Ti performs about 5% faster on average in raster. A few titles really push this number toward NVIDIA's side. Steve suggests an AMD driver update might help AMD reach even better performance, but it's uncertain when that will happen. If you often play games that run exceptionally well on the 5070 Ti, definitely consider getting one.
AMD ray tracing has seen a huge improvement with the 9000-series cards, though NVIDIA still leads in this area. For those who play many ray-traced titles, the 5070 Ti is recommended.
FSR significantly narrows the gap compared to DLSS in upscaling tech. AMD has made impressive progress (see HU's FSR 4 vs. DLSS 3/4 video). Current game support is limited but expected to expand.
Remember, DON'T pay scalper prices!

The 5070ti is not significantly more expensive than the 9070xt, yet people assume the latter is faster.

The MSRP price is correct. It's also noticeably quicker in multiple games. At the standard price point, the 9070 XT stands out as the superior option based on frame rate.

I completely agree. I almost considered buying a 9070xt when I saw them at the MSRP at the local microcenter, but I don’t need it for the games I currently play.
