So roughly a month ago, I installed a new PC with these specifications:
B450 GAMING X,
AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT,
Nvidia RTX 3070,
Kingston HyperX DDR4 3200 C16 2x4GB,
Samsung 860 Evo 500GB,
and everything functioned perfectly. I seldom saw my FPS drop below 60 during intense battles and usually stayed between 80-144 in city, open world, dungeons, and raids. Eventually, I began experiencing BSOD both at startup and while playing. They told me the AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT was the culprit, so they replaced it with the Ryzen 7 3800X (since there wasn’t another 3800XT available) and reinstalled my operating system. The BSOD ceased, but I noticed my performance dropped noticeably. In big fights my FPS hovered around 30, while in cities and dungeons it was about 70-90. Is the AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT really better than the 3800X or something else might be the issue?

I was recommending you activate it then. If you haven't done so already, it will assist. Maybe when they changed the CPU, the system restores the BIOS to its default settings and they didn't turn it back on afterward.

No, the variation is minimal between the two. The XT was just a slight adjustment to the X. The boost clock is 200mhz higher on the XT. It's possible the issue lies elsewhere. Reinstalling Windows 10 might have resolved it. Have you checked if your drivers were updated after installation? Is Windows 10 currently up to date?

Yes, windows and drivers are updated. I've turned off the Windows Xbox game bar and all the annoying features. I'm checking for any software that might help identify why my FPS drops so much during the game. I want to confirm if the issue lies with the game or something else, so I can address it after the holidays with the technical team.

It could be due to a mix of various drivers. Not sure if the FPS loss is related to a specific game. What game are you playing?

The reported RAM frequency of 2400MHz might indicate a problem.

Maybe it's better to disable XMP because the RAM capacity is 3200.
