Dear Experts, I'm trying to decide which laptop to purchase and came across confusing details about its specifications. Specifically, I saw terms like Operating System, OS Architecture, 64 bit, DOS support, and Windows 10 architecture. Does this mean my laptop will run a DOS version? I’ve never used such an operating system before. Could you clarify the difference between OS-DOS and supported OS-Windows 10? Also, do I need to buy a Windows 10 license after buying this laptop?

It comes without an operating system, so you'll need to set up Windows 10 and its drivers yourself. Do you have a product link available?

This generally means they don't add an operating system to the device most of the time.

Yes, as everyone mentions, this indicates the system runs without an operating system. They claim compatibility with Windows 10, yet they avoided paying around $50 for the software because standard laptops cost that much. Now you’re looking at about $100 for Windows in a regular store.

You can purchase a reasonably inexpensive Windows 10 license from various platforms when required.

I now grasp the meaning clearly. The text refers to system architecture, specifically 64-bit operating systems and compatibility with older DOS environments. Thank you for your detailed responses.
