Up to now we've received only compressed visuals from a Kojima Station feed. Additionally, the Non Gif options menu provides slightly better quality screenshots at the provided link. This presentation really caught my attention—I'm quite impressed. My main concerns with the console version were the lack of texture filtering and shadow clarity, which made it feel less impressive compared to its 1080p 60 PS4 release. Although I wasn't overly excited about the game initially, I enjoyed playing it, but this highlights what will matter for The Phantom Pain next year.
I'm a dedicated fan of MGS but I played this title on a Redbox for my PS3. If it becomes available on PC for over $15, I'll hold off. Yet, I anticipate a launch price around $30. Overall, I'm satisfied with the experience. It looks like Konami is aiming for a solid PC version and understands what PC players expect—though I wish the 'Effects' option wouldn't include motion blur, depth of field, or similar features. I dislike MB but accept DoF. Still, it's encouraging to see Kojima bringing a MGS game to PC.
