Hi!
I need some guidance on selecting a new laptop. I have two options to consider: the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 with Ryzen 5500U and 16 GB DDR4 RAM and a 512 GB SSD, or the Acer Swift 3 with an i7-1165G7, 16 GB LPDDR4X RAM and a 512 GB SSD.
I plan to use it mainly for studying—word documents, medium-heavy Excel files, and so on—and possibly some light gaming with less demanding games. Battery life and durability are also important factors.
The Acer Swift 3 is around 600 USD, while the IdeaPad 5 is about 650 USD. My budget is up to 670 USD.
Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
