Are there any variations in their performance on the GPU? You managed to run FC5 in ultra at 720p without issues, but with FCND even at low settings you notice occasional delays.

Adaptive Res is set to default and should only be used when you need to maintain your target frame rate. You mentioned playing on Ultra at 720p, which suggests you might be exceeding the capabilities of your hardware. Could you clarify your specifications?

It seems odd, but for me it was actually the opposite. It wouldn't make sense for ND to perform worse because the game world is significantly smaller and easier to render.

Yeah, that's why I'm confused. Would the adaptive resolution linked to this be the one you're asking about?

720p is the best resolution my monitor supports, too lazy to upgrade. I checked my GPU's performance and it seems because I'm playing in 720p with normal and low settings, the GPU runs at its lowest clock speed (300 MHz), which makes rendering difficult. I didn't realize adaptive resolution was enabled, so that must be why it drops back to lower speeds. It works now like Far Cry 5, thanks for pointing that out—it's the only thing that really caught my attention.
