Hello,
I own a Corsair H155i CPU cooler. I followed the installation instructions as shown in the manual: the pump is linked to the CPU_FAN header, while the other two radiator fans connect to a shared header that links to the motherboard via a USB port. Everything functions properly, but I noticed something unusual with Corsair Link. It displays my CPU_FAN at about 950 RPM, whereas the H115i water pump shows around 1920 RPM (Quiet Mode selected). Since I also have AI Suite 3 installed, I started it and it also reports the CPU_FAN at roughly 950 RPM, with a slight variation of +/- 5 or 10 RPM compared to Corsair Link. I checked the BIOS as well, which confirms the CPU_FAN reading at approximately 950 RPM.

I wondered if, because the fan header from the H115i unit is mounted on the same component as the USB header, both should read the same speed on Corsair Link. Everything seems normal, and my Intel 4930k CPU has idle temperatures between 28-32°C (varies per core) and reaches 51-56°C during load tests (3D Mark Spyglass benchmark and regular gaming).

Please let me know if you can clarify this discrepancy. Thank you in advance.

I have the Corsair H115i and mine functions identically. I believe the CPU fan slot is mixed up because you're using a pump instead of a fan. Keep in mind the RPM is configured for a fan, not a pump, so the motherboard interprets it as a fan, leading to inaccurate readings.

The pump operates smoothly at 1920 RPM in quiet mode, while the 950 RPM reading seems incorrect.

Ememiae :
The pump operates smoothly at 1920 RPM in quiet mode, but the 950 RPM reading seems incorrect. The actual values are closer to 1900 RPM quietly and 2900 RPM during performance. The 950 RPM value is likely a misinterpretation. For accurate details, refer to the corsair link and disregard the motherboard speed information.
