I need to pick a CPU for my build. I have an RX 580, 120GB SSD, 1TB HDD, and a 500W PSU. Should I go with the I7 2600 or the XEON E3 1245 V2? The XEON is half the price but might cause bottlenecks. Can you suggest a cheaper CPU that won’t slow things down while staying under $400?

Xeon needs to match the speed, so consider purchasing one. It seems you might have accidentally left the capital letters on by mistake.

The Xeon performs marginally better than the i7 under single-threaded tasks. However, the improvement is minimal and unlikely to be noticeable in practical scenarios.
