Hello everyone, I'm a regular gamer who really cares about my graphics cards. I'm thinking about upgrading my system RAM for my ROG Strix G15. I have two choices that cost the same. One is a Hyperx 16GB (8x2) with 3200MHz and CL20, and the other is a Hyperx 32GB (16x2) with 2666MHz and CL15. Since both are nearly the same price, I'm unsure which one to pick.

The first option offers a bit more bandwidth but also a slightly higher delay (12.5 ns). The second model provides less bandwidth yet a lower delay (11.25 ns). The choice hinges largely on the games you enjoy. Those who value speed might prefer the second, though 32 GB seems excessive for most gamers. If feasible, aim for 16 GB with a clock speed of 3200 MHz or faster and reduced latency.

their delay gap is under 1.5 nanoseconds, which means it doesn't matter much

I believe you're referring to 1.25 milliseconds. That’s far beyond nanoseconds, isn’t it? Brainfart, you’re right!

Sorry, nano was a mistake—I meant millisecond.

Actually, latency is recorded in nanoseconds, that's my mistake.

It seems a common unbranded SRAM chip can have a delay of 11 milliseconds
