10500 for single core performance, 2700X for additional cores or threads. This equates to 10500 for gaming or 2700X for workstation tasks. A 3600 clock speed paired with a 10500 offers a more balanced comparison, with the 3600 providing better memory performance on budget motherboards versus the 10500. I’d recommend the 3600 plus a B450/B550 board and a 3200Mhz+ memory setup.

Alright then new recommendations: If you don't mind spending some money on a CPU cooler, I recommend the i5. It has a puny included cooler. If you just want to have the cooler come with the CPU ( and perform decently) Then I'd get the 3600.
