For the GTX 750 Ti, consider a generation lower for optimal performance and balance.

Similar single-core speed, but the i7 3770 offers more power through hyperthreading. Hyperthreading had little impact on games back then, but it becomes more noticeable now. Therefore, i7 3770 stands out.

I would choose the option with a 3770 due to the additional threads and slight performance gap per core. Of course, this depends on equal pricing, easy access to a motherboard, and similar costs for a first-gen Ryzen setup.

From these two options, the i7 3770 stands out clearly. It performs much better and remains solid even today. However, both processors are still lagging behind. I’d only consider them if they’re around $50 or less. If they’re pricier, I’d opt for something significantly better like a Ryzen 1500X or 1600 AF.
