Hey, I'm trying to decide between the i5 14600K and the i5 14600K F. In my area, K is not widely available and costs a lot, while KF is more common and affordable. You're working as a 3D model artist and plan to use it with a 32GB DDR5 RAM and an RTX 3080 or 3070 Ti. What do you think?
The F indicates no integrated GPU present. A dedicated GPU works fine.
The KF processor works well for your needs. It doesn’t handle 3D modeling tasks since it lacks an iGPU. For video editing there are some applications but none for 3D modeling, texturing, or rendering offline or in real time. The only purpose of the CPU and iGPU is to check the system when you encounter boot problems.
