Really? Are you expecting a big change in your electricity bill? Not at all. It doesn't work that way. The cost is around 20 cents per kilowatt-hour (I verified this on Google, I'm not in the US). For a device using 100 watts, you'll spend about 20 cents for every 10 hours. If you run a 100-watt appliance daily for a month, your bill could reach 6 dollars. This applies to an extra 100 watts, not a huge difference compared to other processors. Your whole computer might use between 200 and 600 watts (though the last number is unlikely), which means monthly expenses could range from 12 to 36 dollars. Of course, your computer doesn't run at full power all the time. Exactly, the main concern about power consumption is heating up your space during summer. In terms of savings, it adds up little. For someone like me who uses my PC for a few hours daily and then goes to sleep, the impact is minimal.
