This usually indicates many processes are running at startup. Turn off as much as possible on the "Startup" section in Task Manager, then restart your computer to check for improvements.

I'll think about purchasing a 2 GB DDR2 RAM. By disregarding the Geekbench score, it's clear my laptop isn't handling the Core i5 well—Windows 10 lags even after a fresh setup more than twice. Even with DDR3, performance drops significantly. All drivers are installed properly, yet I'm still encountering many problems. Could you recommend software that helps remove unnecessary and unused memory?

Already turned off yet the problem persists... Tried it long ago but I’m not sure a laptop is always bad...

I'm curious about why my performance is even worse than a Core2Duo. It's not just about the scores; I notice delays and slowdowns in everything, and I find Core2Duo more useful and quicker to work with compared to a Core i5 from the 6th generation.

Open the startup directory with a keyboard shortcut. Remove any files present there and then reboot the computer.

On a fresh install? Has it always been this slow, or is it developing new? Potentially the HDD is beginning to fail. You can check this with HWinfo. You'll get a summary view like this: Spoiler If you have a yellow triangle beside the SATA device, that would indicate the drive is beginning to fail. I'd highly recommend upgrading to an SSD if that is the case.

The folder is currently empty. Every time I boot up my PC, I need to clear the %temp% directory before restarting to maintain optimal performance. It runs smoothly for about 30 minutes or longer, but eventually it slows down again after some time.

It seems like your RAM and CPU aren't being used while launching the PC, which could point to a problem with malware.

I just reinstalled Windows, but after about 10 to 12 days it starts acting like a sucking laptop again, just like before.
