I set up the system with a 2600 processor. Under heavy gaming load, it struggled to maintain consistent performance, causing minor stutters and noticeable lag. The frame rate dropped, making it feel choppy. Some people mentioned single-core issues, but I noticed third-generation 3600 chips offer strong IPC similar to i5 9400f or i5 9600k. Intel is known for gaming optimization, yet AMD can match performance with better timing.

The setup focuses mainly on gaming performance. Whether 3600 is worthwhile depends on your specific needs and expectations.

The issue originates elsewhere. Although older Ryzen models aren't famous for top frame rates, they're recognized for consistent frame rates thanks to more cores and threads for their price.

Yes, if the CPU can't process the game's requirements, performance may drop or the game might not run smoothly.

no new instruction set support is available, so the assumption fails. The second generation performs the same tasks as the third generation but takes longer to complete.

I'm mainly puzzled because I struggle to run certain games without issues. Some titles feel a bit sluggish, and others have noticeable stutters. My old GTX 1060 with 3GB RAM works better now than it did before. The main concern is the choppiness and microflicks—where exactly might they originate?

Memory speed and video drivers may lead to stutters. 2666MHz can cause issues if the game isn't optimized.

All of games, But what i found smoothly. ForzaH 4 and Division 2 (Forza High, Div2 med settings) CSGO so many choppiness, R6S (not much choppiness, but not a very stable fps in the end), BDO Thats it. There is no stable fps like when im using vsync.

It makes sense because it's only a single core benchmark. The third generation really boosts average and low frame rates, but the variation hasn't gotten better—probably because of Ubi. Using Vsync or capping frames could help too. CSGO already does that and its FPS should easily exceed the monitor refresh rate.
