I'm really frustrated with this situation. My phone software reported a missing codec, so I downloaded the KLite pack. The next day, Premiere Pro wouldn't launch—it opened the main screen and menus but never progressed further, just showing error messages about performance issues. After some research, I found a similar post on Adobe's forum where someone else had installed the same codec pack. They ended up removing it, but Premiere still wouldn't start. I've read that reinstalling Windows might be necessary. I've tried reinstalling Premiere and using CCleaner, but nothing worked. Anyone have ideas on how to get it running without a full reinstall?
