This means I don’t need to impress you. Just saying. Being indifferent equals lacking a viewpoint.
I’ve enjoyed league, Dota 2, and Smite, each offering its own appeal and special traits. But the real joy comes from playing with friends. I mostly focus on League and Dota 2 since I have companions who join me. The only time I ventured into mobile games was when a friend encouraged me to try them out together.
My view on the game is that I don’t care about them—should be the case.
Competing solo is okay for those who enjoy the challenge and want to progress through the solo ladder. Most mobas come with a tough initial learning curve, but eventually you'll understand why so many people play them and find it enjoyable. Having a friend join makes the experience much more fun—we often trade fire in a lighthearted way.
It seems you're focusing mainly on bot lane, which makes it tough to stay in sync with your team. Right now you're spending time in Ranked 5s, where things feel more organized and coordinated. Everyone prepares for drag or rotations after fights, making the experience smoother.
It's a great rank 5 experience, particularly when you're struggling at first but then rally together as a team. My best friend and I spend a lot of time in bot lane, with me focusing on ADC and he on support. He mainly plays blitz and thresh, so whenever he misses a hook, the whole team just reacts with comments like: "Dude you suck," "Did you get an Elo boost?" or "Who did you buy this account from?" It's really funny when we uninstall the game to mess with him.
I've been enjoying LoL for around four years now. It's a great game. When people talk about the community being bad, it often reflects their own behavior. Don't let angry or rude players affect you. I've had many positive interactions with the player base on LoL—far more than negative. I also tried Smite briefly at level 20... it was fun but needed a lot of time to enjoy. Like any game, it demands commitment. I haven't played DOTA2.
