Comparing Cryorig H5 Ultimate and Hyper 212X

Hi there!
I'm trying to figure out which one—Cryorig H5 Ultimate or Hyper 212X (with dual fans)—performs better for overclocking AMD 125W CPUs. Both seem similar in price, but I don’t see any reviews comparing them. Right now my Zalman CNPS7X only reaches about 4.6 GHz on the FX-4170.

Cryorig H5 has one, a really good cooler that's better than the 212 model even with its two fans.

The Cryorig H5 is expected to perform better. The H7 matches or surpasses the 212 model's performance. The H5 Universal outperforms the 212 EVO by roughly 5C, with the top variant offering 20 more watts than the universal. The two fans have no impact.

Thank you for the replies. Could you please add another fan on the Cryorig H5 Ultimate? The one that comes with it appears to be attached using two clips, so I’m curious if there’s an additional pair included?

They have no reason to include another fan, I don't understand why people believe adding one more in push-pull is beneficial. But yes, you can definitely add another fan.

Extra fans don't improve cooling efficiency, they look good but don't offer real benefits.
