comparing b450 iotx boards
Are there any recommendations or analyses about the various B450 ITX boards? I’m considering the MSI and RogStrix models, with a preference leaning toward the Gigabyte Aorus. I’m thinking about getting the 1600AF in it, though it’s currently unavailable at its regular price.
There aren't many distinctions, I own the Asus B450i and really like it! It seems to offer a few additional features and headers compared to the MSI board, such as an extra PWM fan header (three in total), though the overall differences aren't huge.
MSI offers the top VRM performance, making it ideal for 8-core overclocking. Asus provides a solid choice with two M.2 slots. Gigabyte's VRM is average for ITX, enough for the 1600AF overclock but not the best. Asrock matches MSI in VRM quality but has less effective heatsinks and a less refined BIOS.
