Hi everyone,
I’m thinking about boosting my FX 8320 to match the FX 8350’s performance. I need a decent CPU cooler that doesn’t break the bank. Since I’m using the Corsair Spec-03 case, a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo wouldn’t work.
I’m considering either the H55 closed loop cooler or the Cooler Master GeminII S524, which could handle some other components too.
I’ll be overclocking the FX 8320 on my M5A97 R2.O.
What do you think?

Dark rock works well, but coolers such as the EVO or H7 also perform nicely by drawing heat in and sending it through to your exhaust fan.

I would choose the Gemini, as its cooling performance is comparable to the H& or 212 EVO, both of which outperform a H55.

Obtain a Cryorig H7, smaller and superior to the EVO.

Your interest in the NZXT Kraken X31 is noted. Comparing its performance to the H55 or SR-71 H7 is possible, but specific details would depend on your needs.

After rethinking a closed loop water cooler, I came across the Dark Rock TF from Be Quiet!. I might purchase that cooler because it offers excellent cooling. I noticed the heatsinks on my motherboard can become very hot, so a top flow cooler would also help cool the board. Any other recommendations for high-end top flow coolers?
