Hello, I'm a photographer and need help choosing between CPUs for photo editing and future 4K video work. I'm considering the Ryzen 2700X (about $183), Ryzen 3600 (around $230), or a laptop with an Intel i7-9750H and 32GB RAM. Using the laptop would let me edit photos in the garden during summer, but I'm unsure how well those CPUs handle 4K video. What software might I need for that? Thanks for your advice!

From a CPU perspective, performance is roughly similar across models. However, from a price standpoint, the cost of the laptop seems too steep compared to the value of its processing power.
