Haha, I wasn't aware of 2077 using eight cores—might not need that 10900k after all since it pulls 275W. If you upgrade to something like a 350W model, and you pair it with an RTX 3000, that would be great. Last time I had parts that really heated up the whole room; it's not just about having enough heatsinks—it's about where the heat goes.

Sure, I'm planning to take a break and water cool. Building this gaming desktop as a DIY project has already cost me $500, so I'll have to wait on setting up the Watercool until then. I believe the 10700k is ideal for what I'm aiming to accomplish.
