Hello, you're thinking about assembling a new PC. I reviewed several motherboard options but am unsure which one to pick.

First choice: Asrock A520M-HDV
Second choice: Asrock A520M-HVS
Third choice: ASROCK B450M-HDV R4.0

I selected these models mainly because they're affordable, and I'm limited on budget for the motherboard itself.

I believe the B450 offers superior performance. The A-series boards seem to be inferior in comparison.

Bad Bad and some old questions about the budget and other details. The ASRock model probably won’t include a Ryzen 5000 capable BIOS.

Budget includes 70 euros for a Ryzen 5 4500 with 16 GB RAM, either ADATA or silicon power PSU with deepcool PF500 RX 580 (used). BIOS updates are fine for me. I’ll pick up a CPU from a friend.

take your time, wait a week or two, try saving a bit more and pick a better board... I agree with other comments—some of these sites aren’t just inexpensive, they’re also not very friendly.

I partially concur there. I own a B450 and a Ryzen 5600. If possible, try to set aside some extra money for around a 550. I only use my B450 because I purchased it a long time ago.

Deepcool PF can harm components severely because of poor manufacturing quality, so use it only if necessary. At around 70 euros, a B550 should be accessible or an MSI B450 mortar might work instead.

Looking for a PSU around 40 USD? It seems prices for parts like CPUs, motherboards, and RAM can be higher in your area compared to buying new. Unknown why that happens.
