The Dell UP2414Q is listed at $700, while the 27" 5K monitor with higher pixel density is expected to be around $2500. That’s quite a difference—smaller and less powerful models seem surprisingly affordable. Imagine purchasing six 1080p screens to save even more! This claim doesn’t hold up; even dedicated Windows users would agree. You’ve never really used OS X or Linux for long, yet you’re skeptical. Free updates are available now, offering a modest improvement (about 12%) across multiple displays compared to one, which still falls short for serious photo or video editing. Your perspective seems based on limited experience.
Macs excel in content creation, while many prefer Windows for its native tools or avoid the limitations of Hackintosh setups.
I wonder how many pages of this BS will ensue? It's simple, these days its just a preference. One OS v Another, there is no real advantage to one over the other anymore. Choose the one you prefer, everyone is different. And the whole content creation benefits of Apple died years ago, In fact they died when suitable software became available on windows that wasn't ludicrously expensive. The main reason many started using macs for editing and content creation was simply because the software for it came included, not because it was necessarily better (that is use case dependent). EDIT: to answer the OP more specifically, if you are interested in running adobe software then it doesn't matter whether you use windows or OSX, the software is exactly the same on both. The only real difference is going to be if you want to build the computer yourself or if you are buying prebuilt and what country you live in. If you are intending on using a current windows machine then I recommend sticking with windows becuase you will have les issues getting it to work on you your hardware than diving into a hackintosh. Also In Australia it is significantly cheaper to custom build and sometimes cheap to buy prebuilt windows systems, but you have to look closely at what you you are buying.
