Compare Windows 7, 8 and 10 features and performance.
When it comes to gaming, Windows 7 stands out as the top choice in my view. It’s lightweight, doesn’t take up much space, avoids unnecessary storage, and isn’t tailored for tablets—making it a solid option for performance and simplicity.
I've been working with W8.1 for several months now (previously using W7 for years), and honestly, I don’t mind which one I’m using — they’re practically identical. Still, I’ve run into a few bothersome problems (something I could easily fix if I had the time). The first issue is that you need to move the cursor at a certain speed—just a bit faster than a slow scroll—to cross the boundary between monitors. Secondly, pressing certain combinations of buttons (like Ctrl+something) sends all your keystrokes into a search function, which I can only exit by manually opening and closing Task Manager. I haven’t tried W10 yet, so I can’t say what it would be like.
It's a bit confusing what you're saying. Could you clarify your point?
Received all three and found them satisfying. Enjoyed 7 and 8 so far; a few adjustments needed, mostly things to turn off.
